MAYF hold several programs and activities held throughout the year to educate and promote our main focuses to the village. These programs are the Catch Them Young Program, an annual football tournament, bridging the digital divide by teaching youths how to use computers, and other annual campaigns and events. We also provide financial support for grieving families.
Resource Library and Training Centre
The Resource Library and Training Centre, located in the Mgbala Agwa community, is the first of its kind in Nigeria that is made especially for the purpose of housing books on HIV/AIDS and other Sexual Transmitted Diseases.

Catch Them Young Program
The Catch Them Young is an educational health program for school children, run at several schools in the Oguta Local Government Area, which aims to help educate youngsters be aware of HIV/AIDS.
The team running the Catch Them Young programme consists of HIV/AIDS experts who are from the educational field. Our partners for the Catch Them Young programme are VSO International and Irish Aid.

Annual Campaigns and Events
Our annual campaigns are educational and promotional-based. Our annual events include rallies and a football tournament. During the rallies, youths hand out educational materials and talk to people on the street about HIV/AIDS.
Annual Football Tournament
The Football Tournament is one of the highlights of the year. It takes place annually on the 26th of Decemuber until the 4th of January. This event involves football teams comprised of people from different villages around Mgbala Agwa. Nigerians are massive football fans, so this is one of the best ways to gather people around and pass out information about HIV/AIDS.

Student Support
In collaboration with Youth for Technology Foundation, 15 students from rural schools will learn how to use computers proficiently during a 3-month program.
In this program, students will learn how to use computers and computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe PageMaker, and more. In addition, these students will learn how to use the internet in order to research information on HIV/AIDS prevention.
Financial Support for Grieving Families
We also provide financial support for Widows and their families whose spouse has passed away due to reasons such as HIV/AIDS. This support is of great help during the grieving family’s time of need, especially if the breadwinner of the family is the one who has passed away.
