place holder photo Resource Center: The Resource Centre in Mgbala Agwa is the first of its kind in Nigeria. The resource centre houses books on HIV/AIDS and other Sexual Transmitted Infections.
place holder photo Annual Events and Campaigns: Our annual campaigns are educational and promotional-based. Our annual events include rallies and a football tournament. During the rallies, youths hand out educational materials and talk to people on the street about HIV/AIDS.
place holder photo Annual Football Tournament! The Football Tournament takes place annually on the 26th of December until the 4th of January. This event involves football teams comprised of people from different villages around Agwa in the Oguta Local Government Area. During the football tournament event, information is given out about HIV/AIDS.
place holder photo Student Support: In collaboration with Youth for Technology Foundation, fifteen students from rural schools will learn how to use computers proficiently during a three-month programme. In this programme, students will learn how to use the Microsoft Office suite, Adobe PageMaker, and CDR. In addition, these students will learn how to use the internet in order to obtain information on HIV/AIDS prevention.
place holder photo Catch Them Young: The Catch Them Young is an educational health programme for schoolchildren aged 6 to 13. The pilot program for Catch Them Young will be run at several schools in the Oguta Local Government area. The team running the Catch Them Young programme will consist of HIV/AIDS experts, who are from the educational field.
