MGBALA applies for another political ward

MGBALA AGWA, NIGERIA: For adequate political representations, Mgbala Agwa community has applied for another political ward from the present MGBALA/UBA POLITICAL WARD.
The community traditional ruler said for any meaningful development in Mgbala the people needs to be politically active and to play active part in the political development of the country,part of which he said is to delinated the over concentrated political activities in the community.

He was speaking to Mgbala Agwa Youths Forum when the youths intimated him of their forth coming HIV/AIDS program in January 2006. The community head,chief charles Ukwu assured the youths of his unflinching supports, he thanked the coordinator of the youths Mr. Nduka Ozor for his consistency in seeing to the reduction of diseases especially his massive awareness creation on HIV/AIDS.

The chief promised to give the youths a royal support and asked them to intergrate women in all their activities.

Responding, Mr.Nduka Ozor told the community head on behalf of the youths that Mgbala Agwa Youths Forum has a clear distinction from social work and politics.He enjoined the ruler to continue with the political administration in a democratic manner and always listen to the people as that is the only way the people will feel free with him
